Faster cooling
I roasted the last of 20 pounds of a very large seed coffee from Nicaragua this morning.
This coffee didn't move well in the IRoast because of it's size, and cooled very slowly, it would continue to cook during the cooling cycle. I've found that moving the lid/chaf collector so that it's ajar allows more air to move through the roaster during the cooling cycle and sools the coffee faster. Word of warning, unless you like hot coffee beans flying around your kitchen, do not remove the top from the roaster. D
