Uncle Beanz Review

First off I would like to say thanks you to Norman (Novasurf) for his great coffee and cigar. Thanks Norman.

When the mail man came, i could smell the coffee as soon as I opened the door. A great bold smell.

I recieved the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, not sure how to say it...lol. The smell has a strong herbal smell, almost sweet. I brewed it in my new french press and it came out amazingly. The flavor is bold and tangy with very little acidity and sharpness. It has a great balance between strength and flavor. Paired it with a LGC Serie R maduro...mmmm.

I urge all of you coffee fans to give it a try.

Also, i recieved it on 3-7-07...it was roasted 3-3-07. I could tell such a diff. having it roasted so soon. Also, they will grind it any way you want. Great website.

Thanks again Norman, for the coffee and the cigar.

Joel

Re: Uncle Beanz Review

i also was one of the lucky few who received a freebie and a stowaway! i got the Negrita. The smell was amazing when i opened the package, nice full bodied aroma. i'm no coffee expert, i just know i like it strong. well i was a little dissappointed when the first batch came out a little weak.good thing i had all weekend to work with it and get it to my liking and i have to say WOW!!!!!! the freshness makes a world of difference, and the taste was as smooth as i've ever had. flavors i couldn't tell you, all i know is i found the a great blend that i will buy again. my wife also loved the fresh brewed aroma and she also enjoyed a few cups, she does like hers a little lighter, but still enjoyed it very much. we will try other blends as i recommend everyone should. Norman , thank you very much, you are a generous man and i will be a repeat customer.

I too was the recipient of Uncle Beanz generosity. Liked the mug so much I ordered another one. You can imagine my surprize when I received it and the package included a free 8 oz. pouch of green beans to try! This is what I call extreme good will from a vendor. Thank you for the sample and you can bet I will be ordering again from Uncle Beanz with this kind of customer service. BTW, the sample is organic utz kapeh Ethiopian from th Kaffo forest!

This is truly limited stuff, opusxox. We hope you enjoy it. Not sure what you are roasting on, but try to just be under second crack. Lemme know what you think.

I will certainly let you know how it comes out. I use an SCCO set up. Been roasting for years, just under second crack it will be. Thanks for the tip.
