I wanted to get the initial post done so the ones far away can start to look at airline prices and hotel costs. Also, if this will help in scheduling vacation days in need be. As we move along, I will update this thread with the Guest and Sponsors. This year, the monies that we raise from the raffles will be donated to the local Warrior Transition Unit (WTU / SFAC). The WTU / SFAC is the organization that takes care of wounded soldiers, sailors and airmen awaiting futher processing / discharge. I discussed it with Glynna and as it was last year, Schlesingers can accomodate roughly 135 guests between the store, bar and heated tent that will be erected for the herf. So the fun begins.......

Now for a few admin notes:

1) The event is this Saturday and you can show up any time after 2pm (1400). The official stuff and the major raffles will begin at 4pm (1600).

2) The restaurant is open at 4:30 but kitchen will be open for appetizers anytime after 2PM.

3) We are all adults and bringing in your own beverages / foods is not allowed. I hope a few negative actions doesn't ruin a good time for all of us. Schlesinger’s has a full bar and a great menu with all sorts of tasty foods.

4) If you are involved in a box split on a certain cigar board, please do your business discretely.

5) Lastly, below is a map of the area and it shows where to park. The lot on the side of the restaurant is reserved and there is plenty of other parking to accommodate all of us.



We have looked at the next few days weather wise and unless something un-natural happens, we should have a sunny day with temps reaching 40 degrees. See you all Saturday........

What and incredable time, it's was great seeing you all again and for helping out so much for this great "Cause". I took a few pictures that I'll post later on and I talked with Matt (Devil Dog) and he took roughly 100 shots from start to about 2230 (1030pm). Some of those will be posted here and we'll use a large number of them in the YouTube video / soundtrack. I will post thank you's to all the sponsors and for any of you that won prizes, you may want to do the same as well. My voice is coming back after talking all day and smoking great cigars (DPG My Father, 2003 Mag 46, Finest Cubans House Blend and finished off the evening with a WOA Maduro). Again, thanks everyone and I hope you all had a great time.......
