Pennsylvania: Mahogany "Welcome Spring" Herf

A "herf" at Mahogany on Walnut, in Philadelphia, is long overdue, so several members, here and on another board, have decided to get together with old friends and new ones this Saturday, February 28th.

We'll be starting around 1:00, through the afternoon and perhaps into the early evening. You can bring your own cigars; food and drinks are served.

If you're interested in attending, post here and I'll get the numbers over to Ronnie, Bonggoy, so he can make the reservation. Let me know by this Wednesday.

Here's the website if you haven't been there before. Holts is right downstairs if you want to stock-up on some cigars.

Any suggestions for parking? I always seem to end up at the over-priced places! Although If I have the time, I might look into public transportation.

I usually take the train in from Jersey and it lets me off one block away. About $6.00 round trip. Sorry I can't help with the parking situation. I heard there are some reasonable garages, but I don't know where they're located.

Had a fantastic time yesterday gentlemen. It was great to see some familiar faces as well as meet some new ones. Hope to see you all again in the not too distant future!



Tagging the herf as the "Welcome to Spring" herf has seemed to do us in... we're now expecting 8-12+ inches of snow in the area! If we get together in the late summer, let's not tag it the "Welcome to Autumn" herf. We would be guaranteed to have 100*+ weather two days later!

Bill, you sneaked out before I got to say farewell yesterday. It was nice meeting and chatting with you.

Yea, sorry about that! I wanted to get down to Holt's myself, but just ran out of time. I only got a chance to smoke 1 cigar! Oh well, I know better for next time. Now that I understand the train system a little bit, next time will be better planned!
