New Jersey: Churchill's in Cherry Hill

Just wanted to let everyone know this is my favorite B&M. Went there today and smoked a cigar with the shop owner, Joe, and another young man, talking about the recent ongoing struggles that us as BOTL's are dealing with, and genuinely had a great afternoon. It's good not to smoke alone once in a while!

Do they have a smoking area? I can't recall, it's been awhile since I visited. Don't think there are many places in So. Jersey to sit and have a smoke. Wish we had a JRs or a Cigar Bar closer to us!

Oh I KNOW! There's no seating per-say, but there's a few ashtrays and as long as Joe's wife isn't in the store it's cool to smoke he said. Sometimes he sits in the newspaper rack, which is pretty funny lol. Light-n-Up closed earlier this year, which used to have seating AND I think a member's lounge in back. It's a shame, but you're right. I'm going to go around SJ one of these days to see where we could herf at.

I'm about 15 min from Churchills, Isaac.

There's a place in Merchantville with some chairs and benches outside. They use to have a Wine 'n Cheese Night on Fridays, but I'm not sure if they do that anymore. Also one in Haddonfield with some chairs, but I never frequented there long enough to meet the regulars. Nothing really to do at the shops in Marlton or Medford except to buy some smokes.

That's all I know.

Now Mahogany's in Philly, above Holts, would be a great place to meet. We use to Herf there...had some good times with some great BOTLs.

Mmmm... Getting a little cold to be outside; are you talkin about Nero's in Haddonfield? I've seen it driving around, but never thought to stop in. Philly sounds like a good place. Been a while since I've been to Holt's... We might have to do this! What is Mahogany's? Is it a bar or restaurant of some sort? I've also been wanting to make the mecca out to CI's store, but that's a good hour and a half away =( DAMN THIS STATE! haha j/k

WOW! That looks like a good time! And you can BYOC too!!! And their food prices look affordable! Wow; I'm bookmarking that for future reference.

Yes. They don't mind at all if you bring your own smokes (nice selection but expensive) as long as you spend some money on drinks (which are somewhat pricey) or food. The sandwiches (provolone and peppers especially) are very good. The place is big...lots of comfortable couches and chairs!

Mahogany is a cool joint, they have an awesome drink menu.

The place in Merchantville is called Cigar Alley, my favorite b&m. If you haven't been there lately, they totally remodeled their lounge. It's really nice.

O RLY? They have a lounge now? I've been by there in the past; one of my best friends used to live off center street. Last time I went by there it looked like they were in the midst of some deep remodeling. I'll add that to my B&M list!

They've had a lounge for a while. But now it's much bigger. Two levels, plenty of seats. Big screen. They have lockers, too. It's real nice.

I'll probably head there after work on Friday.

I haven't been to Cigar Alley in a few years. I just remember a very small "lounge" in the middle of the place. I'll definitely check it out soon!
