The curling Hammerfall video was actually just something thrown together very quickly to help promote the Swedish womens curling team for the olympics. Hammerfall is extremely popular in Sweden and for good reason...this band just has killer riffs in damn near every song. Yes they are probably the cheesiest band out today but they don't claim to be anything else which I find to be very cool.

The curling video was never mean't to be for wide release. The actual Hearts on Fire video is pretty cool which is the at the following link...

I agree with you about Hammerfall. They are a great band with a great sound.

I think the funniest thing was the little Johnson & Johnson Accu-vue Logo at the end. Kind of like they did a commercial for a major Drug Company!!!

And Sweeden does have a long history of Cheezey Music Videos:

Bah! Thats such a great song! The video is just too epic for mortal eyes The Rain of a Thousand Flames album is actually very sad; it tells the destruction of the Warrior of Ice and his forces, about the resurecction of the Queen of the Dark Horizons, and King Eric of Elnor is killed. The song Quee of the Dark Horizons is really good though; give a listen to it's 12 minutes haha.
