South Park (Fall 2007 run)

Hey folks,

All you lucky people south of the 49th parallel (or Canadians with US satellite feeds) may or may not know (nor care to know) that the second part of South Park season 11 started airing earlier this month on Comedy Central.

southparkstudios.com's FAQ says that 7 episodes will air during this run.

So far the first two episodes have been (and I apologize for any spoilers):

11-8 Le Petit Tourette
11-9 More Crap

My girlfriend and I watched them both this weekend - has anyone else seem them? If so, what do you think?

Seen it. It still is funny, but they are stretching for ideas now. Now it is all just poo humor. We will see though if it compares to the earlier seasons.

The tourettes episode is easily the funniest episode ever. I feel a close second is the Sucubus episode.

So far so good. South Park never leaves me disappointed. I have every season on DVD. My favorite episode is still when Cartman makes Scott Tenorman eat his parents though.

The fast episode turn-around is what makes this show great. Before you forget about some crazy thing in politics or the news they are already making fun of it.

"Ohhh, the tears of unfathomable sadness, mmm, yummy… yummy you guys!"

That episode got me into the series again (I kind of lost interest when the movie came out). I have been hooked since.

The crap episode I think was funny conceptually, as it was yet another episode filled with (putting on my best Sheila Broflovski accent) Toilet Humor. But as a whole, it was weak.

We'll have to see how this 3 part episode will go.

Well, I guess the Worlds Biggest Crap Episode was a brilliant staire of King of Kong...the documentary about people who were trying to claim the Donkey Kong World Record. The problem is, not many people had seen the move they were poking fun at. I guess once it makes the rounds to Cable, people may appreciate the episode more.

Re: South Park (Fall 2007 run)

The decapitated Care Bear? How about the Private Ryan scene w/ Ronald McDonald picking up his severed arm? Definite creativity, but I think they are stretching for humurous plots now.
