Assassin's Creed

Has anyone picked this game up yet? I've been super-busy lately and haven't had time to go pick up a copy yet so I'm just wondering what the consensus is on this game.

I've been looking forward to it for awhile now, can't wait to get my hands on one

Re: Assassin's Creed

I happen to enjoy the game and don't pay to much mind to some of the reviewers because they have their heads up their Arse. The game is very story driven and is pretty interesting the three cities are beautiful and are built to look the same as they did in that era. Graphics are awesome and the game is fun as many other games you have to do much the same investigate and then you can assassinate or you dont have to do that you can kill the target without stealth. While some reviews were poor only because they were disappointed about the story and how part of it unfolds in the beginning the game is what it is and it is a good game.

Re: Assassin's Creed

I've played the game for an hour or two, i've gotta say, once you get used to the controls it's a great game. The graphics turn it into a super beautiful one aswell. I think, for a game of this genre i'd give it a 9/10. I love how you can climb, and spend time doing things

I'm looking to pick it up within the next few weeks as well, even if some people have given negative reviews about it. Still looks amazing to me.

Re: Assassin's Creed

It's not that great. I picked it up and played it for afew hours before I left. The controls aren't great, it's fairly repetitive actually, and they give away this huge plot twist within the first two minutes of play. I'm let down by it, it looked so awesome in the trailors, but it just isn't. It's surprisingly mediocre, with a few "holy shite that was cool moments" to try and keepyour interest. With all the better games that just hit the market you can do alot better than this one Dustin.

I haven't read them, don't usually bother with game reviews. I find that whenever I do, I usually disagree with them. But if they sound like mine they nailed it for once. Game got wrapped too wrapped up in it's own hype. I'm not saying it's bad mind you, it's just very plain. I got sucked in by the slick marketing, but repetive tasks and cheap thrills do not make a good game.

Pick up Mass Effect. Rent this game. You will thank me later!
