Re: Favorite Classic Television Shows?
My age will show here, remember when tv did not broadcast 24 hours. Remember test patterns? Grew up in the Boston area so some of these will be local:
Dobie Gillis Captain Bob Amos and Andy Sky King Get Smart Addams Family Lassie (original) Rin Tin Tin Superman (original) Lost in Space Milton Berle Show WKRP Wagon Train The Big Valley High Chapperal Rex Trailer The Millionaire Our Miss Brooks That's a good start and all of those are superior to the crap produced now.

Re: Favorite Classic Television Shows?
Although I was three or so when it went off the air--and I don't remember seeing any original airings--The Beverly Hillbillies is a favorite.
The neatest thing happened recently. I was in Target with my family and rummaging through the $1 DVD bins. I found a six episode disc from the first season. Back in the Jeep, I (half-jokingly) asked my two daughters (11 & 9) if they wanted to watch my new disc. They loved it. They have watched every episode on the disc several times. That is the only thing they have watched in the vehicle in the past month or more. Now I'm looking for other episodes for them to watch. |

Re: Favorite Classic Television Shows?
Anyone remember Quark or Logan's Run?
There was another show about a group of guys who built a rocket out of junk and flew it to the moon. Seems like it had Andy Griffith in it?? |

Just talking to Chip and Frank last night about the Red Green show.
Definitely a classic.
