Sunshine is a Sci Fi movie about a space crew delivering a massive bomb to the sun. The sun is about to go out and all of mankind is at stake.

Visually, an excellent movie, good casting, great sound. Awesome movie for the home theather. Similar to "Event Horizon", but not as scary. A worthwhile movie to see for sure. *** (3 stars)

I would echo these comments, especially on the audio side. The soundtrack & effects for this film really put my home theater system to the test. The subwoofer got more of a workout than it's had in months, rocked my entire living room & rattled plates in the kitchen! A point or two on the plot didn't hold together so well for me, but overall a beautiful film to watch and listen to. Great flick for any classic sci-fi fan.

Looks spectacular on Blu, the sound is top notch also. I like Danny Boyle's movie style and this keeps in his tradition of visually amazing movies with a storyline to back them up. Big fan
