Wasn't he in the movie Leaving Las Vegas with Elizabeth Shue - I thought he did a good acting job in that one - But - if he decides to retire or - good for him!

But let's be serious here - if he's not a good actor - neither is anyone else that ever appeared in one of these stupid/crazy action movies. It seems acting is a second thought - lot's of big booms and big boobies and we have an action movie - it sort of shows how pathetic the american movie goers have become -a movie that you actually have to watch and pay attention to has no box office and is rarely made -

Go read a book!

He's a decent in actor in crappy films. Can't remember the last time he earned any of my box office dollars.

I don't buy his excuse. He could do art films, ****... whatever he wants and people will see it. I wish him luck in whatever ventures he does or does not do...

There's a lot worse actors out there. Like HorseFace from sex in the city for example.

I like Nicholas Cage, always have.
But I also like Keanu Reeves, so what do I know?
I enjoy the hell out of Bruce Willis, too and he sure as hell isn't Christopher Walken.
Look at all the stroke a guy like Al Pacino gets. I like him, but he's about as one dimensional as an actor gets.
There aren't a lot of guys that can play anything like Tom Hanks, but all the guys I mentioned are entertaining.
What about Dennis Hopper? Another guy who gets megastroke and is totally one dimensional.
It's all about casting. Drop a one dimensional actor in the right role and he'll kill it.
Someone mentioned Will Smith. He's played a lot of different roles and nailed them all.
I think he does a damn fine job. Sure has plenty of dollars to show for his work.
