I watched "The Wicker Man" tonight, and thought Nick was just awful in it. That being said, I will always love him for "Raising Arizona".

Raising AZ was hilarious. Wicker Man was just horrid by everyone involved in the movie... seriously, what were these people thinking?

Oh and the only reason I liked "Next" was because of Jessica Biel

I dunno, I thought Mr. Cage had a serious case of "overacting" in that one. I really got annoyed by his over the top reactions to everything...but I see what you were saying, not much to work with.

Overacting... ya you do have a point there, now that I think about it he does do that a little... but I still like his movies.

I'm not a Cage hater....just have mixed feelings about his flicks, some I like, some I don't.

The bold are the ones I liked him in. Less, but at least some....though I have yet to see Grindhouse....and he really didn't have any good lines in Fast Times.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High was good. I don't think he had a line in it he just nodded his head.

There is an alternate version I have seen on TV a couple times with about 10 minutes of extra scenes...Cage actually has a couple speaking lines....and he is listed in the credits as Nicholas Coppola.

I actually heard that he changed his name because he wanted to "make it" in Hollywood on his own merits rather than because of his relationship to the renowned director.

Oh, and Fast Times is a great flick!

Re: Nicholas Cage to quit acting.

Nicholas Cage is one of the best and most fearless actors the world has ever seen.

You may think the films he has been in were junk, you may not like all of the choices he made as an actor in his roles - but the man deserves credit for the passion and boldness he brought to his craft.

My name is JMAC and I am a Nicholas Cage fan.

He started out like wildfire in a buch a really good films. I always thought he never made a good movie after 1987 but Red Rock West is a great movie with Dennis Hopper. The ones in bold are the only ones I like. Frankly, I am glad he will not be making any more crappy movies with bad overacting. Which pretty much describes the last 10 years of his career.

I'm sure ComicBookFreak is devastated.
