Was wondering if anybody else watched this last night. I thought it was terrific, Paul Giamatti was amazing. One of the best mini series I have seen. Plus the hd looked great as well.

HBO, right? I don't get it, but I know the book it is based on well. The commercials didn't seem to correspond to the book contents, but I do plan to pick up the DVD when it is available.

I too ran across it last night. I enjoyed every minute of it. I really thought it was interesting on how they mentioned the significant events but didn't focus on them like you would see in other movies.

The third one should be on tonight if I'm not mistaken. I can't wait. The series portrays the revolution in such a realistic way, like this is how it actually happened, instead of being romanticized

There is one scene where they a strip a guy nude to tar and feather him, so yea there's like a 3 second shot of full frontal man penis, but it is quickly covered up by hot tar. EDIT: I think it was in episode one.
