Cypher (2002)

My son rented Cypher last weekend because Lucy Liu was in it (he rented many videos with her in it) and I’m sure he has the hot for her even though he never announced it. Never heard of this title so I assumed it’s a small independent film. The beginning of the movie, Jeremy Northam, gets hired to spy on other corporations by intending conferences and record them. Somewhere along the undercover work, Lucy Liu pops a few times to give him warnings about a deception which he eventually realized is true. From there on you’ll have many little twists that are not too complicated but intriguing enough to want to know where the story is taking you. >>>>>>>>>> SPOILER???…….. Ending, was a bit of a surprised and somewhat pleasing on why he did what he did. 7.5 out of 10 rating for me.
