Excellent review, impeccably written!

I was introduced to both films by a friend, and we watched them both back-to-back in one evening. Though I'm not a huge fan of this genre, I agree with Colgate that I was left with that "Pulp Fiction" feeling about the experience.

The only way I can describe thse two films is that they're clearly cult-oriented, with a little Rocky Horror, Saw, and Pulp Fiction thrown into a blender, and Zombie hit 'frappe'.

I was expecting the worse when I watched this one a few months ago, I was surprised how good it was though.

Saw this a few months back after overhearing a guy tell his buddy about it. It was kind of disturbing the first time but it does grow on you after the second and third times. Would definately give it a thumbs up!

I've been meaning to watch again as I haven't do so for a couple of months.

Zombie has been given permission from the original director to create his own version of "Holloween". It won't be a remake, but rather a new Holloween. Back to what it was about and not spooky masks that make your eyes bleed.
