Watched the first two seasons on DVD and then burned out on the third. Wife still likes to watch it though.

My

1. The Orchid Hatch - hooray, another hatch! I love me some hatches!!! The symbol for the Orchid Hatch matches that of Ben's flash-forward winter parka and the Secondary Protocol that Keamy looked at. Something to ponder.... why would a greenhouse (hot, humid) have a winter parka? The finale is going to be awesome.

2. Remember that Hurley tells Jack in a flash-forward "I should never have gone with Locke..." Perhaps Hurley is sorry he went with Locke because then Jack and Sawyer had to go save him and the result is an event which is not good... Also Hurley going with Locke is what convinced Claire to go with Locke which led to her almost getting blown up and then disappearing.

3. A boy at Hurley's birthday party had the number 42 on his shirt. Poor Hurley, the numbers were back on his odometer, too. It was nice to see the numbers again.

4. Alpert looked pissed again. That's 2 episodes in a row!

5. Now that the Oceanic 6 told the lie about Aaron being Kate's baby Jack can't reveal to Claire's mom that she is a grandmother. Such a good ending... so sad! No wonder Jack is guilt-ridden in the future!

6. Kate's step dad (the military man) wasn't at the reunion. Can anyone think why he wouldn't have been?

7. Sun told her Dad that she blames two people for Jin's death.... her Dad and??? Jack, Locke, Widmore, herself?

8. Tension among the Oceanic 6 was major. I can't wait to see more about how they got off the island and the circumstances that lead to the lie.

9. Per the press conference the time they spend on the island matches the passing of the outside world time, right?

10. Operation Greenhouse was the code name for America's A-bomb testing program in the South Pacific during the 1950s. Just interesting to note.

11. Next week is a rerun of the last 2 episodes. The 2-hour finale is on 29May.

12. Oh, and the DJ at Hurley's party was playing Geronimo Jackson.

Pretty cool episode. Interesting that by the end of this season they have now caught up with the flash forwards they had been doing this year.

I guess a lot of next season will happen off the island.

So I wasn't able to guess correctly the guy in the coffin but the wifey did. I'm content with the explanations of stuff but to be honest I'm not loving the "You have to go back". I suppose since this series will end next year they have to do something to follow the title "Lost"
