I went back and watched old seasons before this one started. Just for fun, I compiled a list of all the mysteries/unanswered questions.

Thought some of you might enjoy.

More likely, Ben saw him in the past.

Say, for example, Jin happens to be hanging around when Ben kidnaps Alex from Danielle Rousseau (circa 198, . If Ben sees Jin back, then Ben would surmise that Jin has traveled back in time.

I started the list after Season 3, and just update it after each season.

I like orderly lists (a little OCD, perhaps) so it seemed the natural thing to do.

I loved your list of quesitons. I too have been watching from the beginning and am looking forward to the last two seasons. It will be very interesting how JJ Abrams wraps everything up. And if he leaves too many things up to "deus ex machina" there will be riots on the message boards.

I have a feeling that is exactly what's going to happen.

Last night's episode is a good example: When the writers finally got around to giving us some answers, the answers they gave were not consistent with the rest of the show

Like Mrs Hawking's explanation that the island is always moving through time. She specifically told Jack they were not rescued from the island because the island was always shifting in time, even before Ben turned the giant donkey wheel, and no one could find it That doesn't make any sense. If the island is always shifting randomly through time, then how come people could get on and off the island if they know the coordinates

True, there were odd incidents, like Minkowski's body washing ashore a few hours
before he was killed, but the coordinates were the same in Season 2, Season 3,
and Season 4. When the Oceanic 6 were rescued, they had been on the island 104
days... and 104 days had passed off the island, too. So it would appear that
both the island and the "real world" were moving through time at the same rate
of speed.

That's not picky. it's a basic question of the show. The explanation made no
sense. We saw the Others come and go off the island a lot. They never dealt with shifting time.

I believe Ben said in a recent episode that he knows Jin is alive because Locke told him.

His mother died in childbirth. You can't believe a word he says.
