Thumbs up Futurama

Hated this show at first, but then the wife got me into it. One of the few comedy shows I'll watch along with Family Guy and King of the Hill.

My favorite character is Bender. I think he is the most interesting and humorous out of the whole bunch.

Re: Futurama

I love Zoidberg. There was one Christmas episode where Bender was pretending to be Santa Claus and Zoidberg was "his friend, Jeeeeeeeeeesus". I don't think I've ever laughed so hard.

Re: Futurama

A cigar smoking, beer drinking robot makes no sense to and old science fiction buff like myself but Bender is a character that could have come right out of Seinfeld. He is completely self centered, always has an agenda and manages to to show you just a little of yourself from time to time.

Re: Futurama

Where's Hermes? And Scruffy the Janitor?

I love Futurama. I have the whole set on DVD and I think it's a crime that it got cancelled. I have to go with Bender, he has so many great moments.

I have to say that Zoidberg is a close second though.

You make some very good points. Where is Hermes and Scruffy the Janitor? Scruffy was one of the most well connected characters on the show. He's been everywhere and done just about everything.....................This is a crime.

Yeah, Zapp is pretty funny.

I didn't add some of the other characters because they aren't in every episode, but I probably should have because they are pretty cool too.

Re: Futurama

Zoidberg.

There's an episode where they're at the bottom of the ocean and Dr. Zoidberg climbs into a giant shell and says "Hey everybody, look at me! Zoidberg, homeowner."

If you like Futurama you should check out Red Dwarf. It's a British Science Fiction Comedy TV series that's been around since the late 80's. It's hilarious.
