Like JC's music fine (have half a dozen LPs), but pretty much lived thru much or the time covered by the movie, so no real reasons for me to spend $8 to see it "Hollywood" style.

Those of you going to see it will have to come back and post on whether its Oscar Worthy or not. Interested to see the reviews.

I would love to go opening weekend, as I'm a huge JC (and June) fan. But my girlfriend (who is 24 mind you) has already decided we're seeing Harry Potter.......there I said it. She's obsessed and I'm a push-over.

I'm not a fan of these types of movies. They always try to cram a life into the constraints of a structured narrative and it always comes off false to me. In other words, they got to make up a bunch a crap to move the story and create tension.
That and it kind of looks like a big budget VH1 TV Movie. |
