If I was to go to this one, it wouldnt make sense because I have not seen or read any of the first 3 or 4 movies.

hy wife is a HUGE fan(not that she is physically large, which she is - 6' 5" 250# - but she greatly enjoys the Potter series), and we've both reaf all the books and seen/own all the movies. Unfortunately our son is too young to take to the movie, and we don't have a good babysitter yet, but next week when we are visiting family we should have no problem leaving him for a few hours to go to the movies.

Going tonight with the wife and kids. Trying to sneak out of the office a little early today to avoid traffic and have a chance to calm down from the commute before going. Should be a lot of fun.

I hate lines and crowds so my wife and I will wait. We definatly want to see it at an i-max theater. I always get the dvd's when they are released and truely enjoy the movies in the privacy of our home the most. This is a little embarrassing but what the heck, my wife started reading the books a few years ago to me out loud to get me to bed earlier. It worked, I dash upstairs like a little kid (we also would have adult fun first) to have her read me to sleep. What can I say I never grew up.

I have not seen any of the Harry Potter movies. I never had an interest in it, but seeing, and hearing all these adults talk about them, is starting to make me want to check it out. Hmmm....we'll see though.

I will see it when I see it. As far as Walk the Line, when I get a spair 20 bucks, I am going to take a girl to see it. Being a fan of Johnny Cash is in my top 10 list for what I desire in a girl.

Went last night, along with most of Georgia Tech (no line either, my friends went in, held our seats, and we were set), but that's probably cuz our PLs (think RA) pre ordered all our tickets... we probably owned 5 of the 6 theaters they were playing it on... I want to see it on an imax, but there's none within walking distance, and none of us have a car... We're going tonite too, as we had already bought tickets, then we were told there was a group thing going on.. so I get to see it 2 days in a row... sweet... The movie didn't stay true enough to the book IMHO, but I won't go into detail, for fear of spoilers... anyone with questions can PM me though.. I still loved it...
