What did you watch from NetFlix today?

I'm always looking for something different to put in my queue at NetFlix. So i thought I would see what others are watching. Instead of everybody just listing there queue, I thought that we could list what we watched and tell us if you thought it was in good.

Mine for today was:

The Eye - Not a bad movie and it had Jessica Alba in it. MMMmmm and there was a cameo of the TV series "The Dresden Files". Did I mention it had Jessica Alba in it?

Sweeney Todd - Great movie even if it was a 2HR long musical.

Watched Dexter on the train in to work this morning. Great show so far, in the second disc. In my queue right now:
MI-5 - great brit spy show
Big Love - season 2
Dr Who - the new one, was told it was good

Just popped in from my saved:
The Wire - best cop show ever
The Shield - second best cop show ever
Entourage - funny as hell

I generally go for the shows on netflix, as they are a pain to get from the video store.

I'm a huge Netflix nerd and have been a member for over four years. I absolutely LOVE netflix

That being said I just watched

Shutter - A completely disposable piece of horror-trash. I love horror movies but I'm completely dissapointed in the new batch of movies released in the last year or so. Bland

In Bruges - A hilarious British comedy about two hit-men sent to Bruges to await their next assignment. A fun comedic romp.

Never Back Down - Karate Kid for this generation. Eh... so-so

Lust, Caution - An excellent movie. The movie itself is beautifully shot and very stylish plus the performances are top shelf

The Eye would have fell into that category but MMMMMMmmmm Jessica Alba!

Dude, I don't know how your tastes run, but 'In Bruges' is a pretty funny movie with Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes. I also liked 'Perfume', which was different; you may want to read the synopsis on that one before you put it in queue. My wife really liked Guillermo de Toro's 'The Orphanage', which I had mixed feelings about but generally thought was better than his 'Pan's Labryinth'. That's a few for you.

I meant to post this over the weekend but ended up in the hospital for 4 days. Long story. But anyway.....


The Spiderwick Chronicles - More for the kids (10+) but enjoyable.

Cloverfield - This movie sucked more than the suckiest movie ever sucked.

The Lake House - Yeah, its a chick flick but it was still pretty good. And Sandra Bullock never looked better.

Vantage Point: OK, but they tried a little to hard

In Bruges: I thought it was well done, but trailers made it look more like an action movie than it is. Great script and performances.

The Bank Job: Good Heist movie, worth a rental.

Netflix has had problems recently getting my picks to me. Also, they say they never received movies that I sent back. That said, Rendition and Eastern Promises were both great!

Night at the Museum - Not a big Ben Stiller fan but this (kids) movie was funny!
