Re: Walk The Line

Johnny Cash was the man who turned me on to Country music back in the late 60's

Re: Walk The Line

I saw the movie yesterday and was blown away. I remember Johnny Cash when TV discovered him right after the time period of the movie. The performances were uncanny. That odd way he held his guitar when he played it. And the vocals were great. There should be Oscars attached to this movie.

Re: Walk The Line

A concur, Walk the Line is superb, and at the very least, Reese Witherspoon needs a Best Actress statue for that. That was an incredible turn. She really became June Carter, especially the singing voice.

Re: Walk The Line

Saw 'Walk The Line' over the weekend with the GF and I thoroughly enjoyed the flick. Great acting. It's kind of funny because I saw the first video of 'The Highwaymen' in concert last week, a special on CMT on the same, and saw Kris Kristofferson in concert on Fri night. None planned, all coincidence. Kris put on a great solo show, with just his guitar and harmonica. His voice obviously has lost some range, but a great show regardless.

Re: Walk The Line

Just saw this on Sunday. This was a great movie. I'll be picking this up on dvd as soon as it comes out. I can't believe that the actors were really singing, great voices!

Re: Walk The Line

My wife and I both thought it was an amazing movie. They really captured the essences of Johnny and June. What a life they lived!
