I'm really thinking they hashed a lot of this out to really get a good ending. Hopefully it will be a great run of shows leading up to the end where the last episode will be so great that the rest have to be the way they are to make it make sense.

Kind of an end justifies the means thing.

The noose is tightening around Vic though....

That's only if Beltran gets arrested. If he isn't then it seems to me that the immunity doesn't apply.

Ronnie should take him out, he has been the loyal one all along.

Well the series is over with now. Vic isn't in prison but he is basically neutered and has no friends or family anymore.

For him I think it was worse than prison since he was a tough guy who would have been able to survive prison. Ronnie on the other hand paid the other price for his indiscretions and will have a lifetime to regret his actions.

It was a satisfying ending and pretty clear. If that had happened in The Sopranos I think a lot of people would have been happier!
