Anybody watch the premiere? What are your thoughts?

Same producer and creator os "Six Feet Under".

I set the Season Pass....that gives me 4 shows I have on SP, the most I have ever had:

The Shield
Sons of Anarchy
Fringe
True Blood

I watched the first episode on on-demand the other night. Looks pretty good. I'll keep watching. I've enjoyed the previous Alan Ball things I've watched in the past, Six Feet Under and American Beauty were both quite good. Guess we'll see how this one plays out and whether it finds enough of an audience for HBO to keep it going.

I'd watch it but I don't have HBO. I just don't watch enough tv for it to be valuable to me.

Unforunately some of the really good shows on HBO never do.

Aye, John From Cincinnati anyone? As for True Blood I'm going to watch it tonight. I love most HBO shows.

I like True Blood. I like Vampire stories, but they usually get too gory for me to stomach. It is one of four that I have the season pass on:

Deadwood was supposedly canceled because it cost too much to make, afaik. Not sure why they were able to do Rome for two seasons, holy costume budget batman, but there it is. Both awesome and well worth the netflix rental if you don't have HBO.
