AC/DC Tour

Anyone else going?

Picked up four tickets and a parking pass for when they come to Mellon Arena. Also, anyone think these ticket prices were steep? Total for four tickets and a parking pass was $460, hopefully my friends pay me back....

Anyways hopefully it is worth it last time they came on tour I was to young to go, I think they came in 2000 last time.

Re: AC/DC Tour

Just got a ticket last night for one of the Chicago shows....it has been 26 years since I have seen them, though I listen to them pretty much daily at the gym.

Saw them in Comiskey Park (Chicago) in 1978 (Bon Scott) and twice in 1982 on the "For Those About to Rock" tour, in Chicago and Lakeland Florida.

Can't wait to see them again!

Saw them in September of 78 at Oakland Coliseum. They were the opening act of a "Day on the Green" 10am with Bon Scott is a helluva way to start the day! Other acts included, Ted Nugent, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick.

Yeah, right from ticketmaster on-line. As soon as it hit 10, I hit best available and it gave me floor seats in section F6. Just got lucky I guess.

The Comiskey show was called "Summer Jam". Besides AC/DC, the bands were Aerosmith, Foreigner and Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush.

I saw another Super Show in Milwaukee that summer that had Nugent, Cheap Trick, Journey and Heart.

I really had to think about spending the money also, but I have never seen them in concert and this will probably be my last chance to do so.

Re: AC/DC Tour

I would sell an organ on ebay to see AC/DC. Spouses went in and for Christmas bought us 8 VIP ticket packages for the show in San Antonio. Last saw them in 2000 in Vegas, baby. I still have body sweat on me, off Angus when he was swinging on the bell for the start of Hells Bells.

That is what rock is supposed to be. Plus they still deliver the energy which a lot of old farts can't do but still charge the $$$.

Rock on!!!

Re: AC/DC Tour

Keep your fingers crossed for me, I am hopeful that I will have four seats in one of the suites at the Pepsi center for the Nov. 25th show. Just hope I don't get bumped by a bigger customer.

So cool I make air conditioned wind, with subtle hints of aged Stranahans Colorado Whiskey and Murphy's Stout.
