I had a buddy that was a HUGE fan of Pantera. This really upset him a lot. Real tragic the way it happened.

The March 2008 Guitar World had a great set of articles about Dime. If you are not a guitar player, you may have missed it. The articles were more about him than his playing, so non players can appreciate them too.

My son and I spent an evening last friday watching Pantera vids on youtube. Dime was such a phenomenal talent, that you just can't put into words the loss to the metal community. It is hard to fathom that it's been 4 years already. Tough to explain to a 12 year old why someone would shoot his hero, just because his favorite band was broken up.
 I still get shivers when I hear the ending of Cemetary Gates.
