HHHMMM!!!!! Maybe thats how the show will end...
Well,

With the that he was spouting after the wedding - I think that he is going to make a run at taking over and Tony is going to help out and put him down.

For the series finale - Tony does his shrink and then takes a bullet - crime has it's rewards, doesn't pay in the long run - remember?

Good theory.
I guess that could be possible but he is like the gangster everybody is rooting for. Reminds me of Gotti's popularity.

Doing the shrink definately possible. But another bullet ! I dont think so. They will try to kill someone close to him. This will make up for Phills brother.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

Yea maybe Chris or even AJ? That would hurt him bad..
That's why I thought Phil will go, Johnny Sac would think it was someone within his family making a power grab. By whacking Phil you isolate Johnny.
He's been putting out fires concerning Phil since his release from prison. It started with the car at Big Pussy widows car shop. Then his cousin. Then he wanted Chris dead. He's been a royal pain in Tony as* for some time. I think its a matter of time before Phil moves against Tony, after the exchange last night "when your father ran things". Phil's gotta go.
I think Paulie finds Vito from the cell phone, and gets back into Tony good graces.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

Just watched Sunday's episode. Seemed like a bit of a pot-boiler.

The most interesting scene for me was the one between Tony and AJ in the police station parking lot. Initially, Tony seemed to be just as angry that AJ had completely wussed out as he was that he had tried something in the first place.

Tony's relationship with AJ is one of this season's most well thought out themes. AJ is at the age where Tony can still have an enormous influence over the direction AJ's life takes, but he is conflicted over the kind of life he wants for his son. (Can anyone else relate to that?) Contrast with the guy from this season's first epi, the guy who won the lottery and his relationship with his son?

Their relationship is being handled very subtly and it reminds me of why I first started to really like this show in the first place.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

Tony would never have AJ involved directly. He has to much money and he would set him up in other ways.

Like the thread says. Who do you think will go first ????????

Rusty.

What did I win?

Phil's a pain alright but clipping him would start a war. I'd have to say Vito's going to be next.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

I think Chris should go for slugging Lauren Bacall. Also, Phil definitely has to go. He is, and always has been, entirely too much trouble.

Is this the last season? I am thinking the Sopranos go into witness protection...

I've had too much coffee.

I hope Phil sticks around for a while - he's far too interesting a character and always good for a laugh. I'm still thinking that Phil's gonna take out Vito if he gets the chance.

Now Phil wants to do business with Tony without giving Johnny Sacs a taste?

He has got to be on his way out.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

HHMM !

Alot of twists and turns.

Paulie could take his own life if he has the Big C.

Christopher could be disposed of because of the drug problem and he cant be trusted.

Johnny Sack is probably gonna flip so he will be marked as well.

I still say either Vito or Paulie goes first.

Re: Who will go first on the Sopranos

I think this whole season is leading to Tony wanting to go legit and lead a normal life. I wouldn't be surprised if he just walks away from it all. Or in irony, he makes that decision and is then gunned down.

Good epicode last night - I now think Chris is the one to go - maybe that's how AJ makes his bones - probably not. Maybe Tony in the Witness Protection Program - that would be rich - we need to get to series conclusion not just season end.

But, I do think that it's going to be Chris.

I'm voting Veto. There's only what...10 episodes left. By my calculation there are @ least 10 men that deserve whacking. I sure wish they would get started! They can't whack them all at once, can they?
