And is anyone else wondering why, when Phil's goons had bound and gagged Vito and turned on the lights, Phil stepped out of the closet? Granted, it was a nice moment when the closet doors slid open to reveal Phil's smiling face. Still, it's not clear to me why he had been waiting for Vito in the closet. And why that shot of Phil later, lying in bed next to his wife, on his back with his hands crossed on his chest and his eyes open?

There was a LOT of symbolism last night, that's for sure. The closet represented what Vito should have stayed in. IMO
As far as the bed scene, maybe feeling guilty for killing her brother? Or for killing a made man, knowing what the repercussions are for that.

Damn, a pool cue in the ass. Shameful way to go. I have only watched half of the episode (The rest is recorded on Tivo at home), but I cannot see Tony letting Phil slide on this. Even if he was gonna do Vito in himself..
