What's the deal with Twilight? I keep hearing good things about it and now my wife is talking about it. Is it a series and a movie? I know there are some books. Is it really that good?

the wife and I watched it Monday night. It was a good movie but I didnt think it was that great. It was a different take on vampires which was good and interesting but it just wasnt that great of a movie. Guess im getting too old maybe.

30 days of night. <- hands down, the greatest vampire movie created. Really changed how vampires are. So gory and twisted. LOVED it.

I agree 30 days of Night is great but still for me nothing beats Anne Rice's version of Vampire Lore...
Twilight for me was Vampires for Teen girls, but hey it made a great deal of money and its fans very happy. |

30 days of night was cool....i forgot about that one. The Underworld movies are good too. Ive got a small crush on Kate Beckinsdale. My wife says I can marry her unless she gets to her first!

My wife is a HUUGE fan. Personally, I just didnt get the hype. I read part of the 1st book, never seen the movie. Just didnt really do much for me.

Yeah my wife is hooked too. See watched the movie then went out and got the book. Read it in about 1 week then went out and got the second book. I believe she is just about finished with the second by now. It was ok but not that good. It has that romance twist to that woman love IMO.

I watched it with my wife (at home I would not go to the movies to see it) and I only have one word for it BORING! But hey its making a ton of money so what do I know.
You want to watch some good Vamp TV, watch True Blood which was a series last year on either HBO or Showtime. I guess its coming back, it rocked!
