Deadliest Catch
I got hooked on this last year. Television show that airs on Tuesday nights on Discovery Channel. Is anybody else as intrigued by these guys as I am?
I mean, what a way to make a living. These guys are totally nuts. Makes you think twice about bitchin' about the cost of crab legs at the local grocer,
that's for sure!

Yeah, something like that. There in the oppilio season right now, with the ice cap moving in on them. It's fixin to get hairy for a couple of boats.

I've spent my fair share of time on the water, in rough seas, during storms, etc. NO WAY I'd do that job.

I guess the lure of a year's paycheck in a couple of weeks will make some people do most anything.

Got to give them props for doing it though...

Yes, this show rocks!!! I didn't finish season 1 so I'm looking to buy it on DVD. Those guys are crazy, brave, foolish, awesome, etc. I can't imagine doing that but I also understand why they would. Does anyone know if this is on Discovery HD theater?

Also Kudo's the camera men on this this too. I seen the episode where they showed how they got the different camera angels they shoot. They are taking some big time risks as well.

Worked on fishing boats a couple of summers .. lobster, crabs, scallops. I have a lot of respect for thise guys.

All those guys are crazy! The camera people especially. The fishermen have "been there, done that". The camera operators have had to learn a whole new world. It's another great show produced by Discovery.

It would seem that watching boats would be boring, but the show is pretty amazing.

Pickup a years pay in a couple of months, that leaves a lot of time for other stuff. . I think many of those guys start another season when one ends though. Their nuts!

It is an excellent show very addicting man those guys go threw hell literaly. I couldnt do it my hat goes off to those guys. The last episode I saw the green horn black guy ran home cracked under the pressure. This is an excellent show
