I dont remember what the very first was but I do remember being really scared by "The Exorcist" and "It" also, is it bad that Darth Vader scared me? and I'll second that, Halloween is my favorite horror movie!

There really has only been one movie that scared me, and its more of a spoked me. The Shining. Come on that lady in the bath tube, I was young and had no business watching that movie. For the longest time after it I had to move the shower curtain and look in the tube every time I went to the bathroom LOL.
