The Exorcist. had just been drafted(some may not remember this). Night before induction, scared out of my mind anyway as to what I had to face and myself and another guy went to see the movie. What a start to my experience, still think about that damn movie to this day.

When HBO first came out I begged my mom to let me watch The Exorcist. She said no so I got up late one night and snuck into the living room. I had the volume down low and sat about 2 feet from the TV and watched it.

I don't think I slept for a week.

I saw Jaws when I was 8. Scared the bejesus out of me. I am still a little scared of the ocean. I showed it to my son when he was 11 and after he told me the shark looked fake. Looked real enough to me when I was 8.

Man that scared the hell outta me! Other then that a lot of the ones mentioned on here already. I remember being young and going to the Jersey shore with the parents and we went to eat at a pizza place, and the tv station was showing the first Nightmare on Elm street where the girl is getting dragged across the ceiling!! oh man my vacation was ruined

After that and FITS, it was X-Files, that show was creepy as hell!
