Great show,,,,not sure I'd want to spend 12 hours doing that,,,but I'd sure like to watch them while smoking a good cigar!

I would do it for the "summer" season.. I cant hack that freezing weather. I would go and bust ice for 8 hrs then sleep/ hangout for 10 then bust ice for 8hrs in the winter runs but not work the rail or table.

I had a bad experience the 4th when a bad summer storm came up and a lot of people got caught at the barrier islands of the MS gulf coast. Once it cleared up it was like the Kentucky derby race back to the docks, except it was still rough seas 3-6ft (which is fairly high for the area)... I had one wave litterally take me off of my console driving. The only reason i stayed aboard was because my foot got hungup in my console. I wouldnt have minded goin in, but NOT in the Bearing Sea at freezing weather~~
