I've always been an Elvis fan

I don't really remember when it started but my very first memories of "music' that I liked were of Elvis Presley. No one else in my family was a big Elvis fan and there wasn't Elvis records laying around, except those of my own. I know there are a lot of folk that don't care for him but it does my heart good to see a few fans of his in every generation, even after his untimely death 32 years ago.

I don't know how the connection started but it has always been and continues to this very day, that no matter what kind of mood I'm in, I can find a song of his to relate to. To cheer me up when I'm down and to set the "mood" on a date (back when I actually dated), and I've been told that although I don't sound like him, I do carry the exact tone and range when I sing his songs.... in the shower mostly these days.

We actually have a very strange commonality in that we both had stillborn twin brothers, and I was always a "Mama's Boy".

Any other Elvis fans out there??

Your not alone Dale, I'm a big Elvis fan as well! My mom has always loved Elvis so I grew up on his music. I pop in a Elvis cd, crank up the car stereo and get all kinds of strange looks but I don't care. I love what I love! TCB!!!
