Cheezy Movie Badness

You know those movies that are so bad, you just can't stop watching them? Well, I'm watching one of them right now on ShowTime. It's a cinematic gem from 2004, called "Deep Evil", which I assume is a description of the people who made it. Basically, it's the whole Resident Evil/Doom plot, a secret underground government lab, under automatic lockdown due to a containment breach, except for two key points:

The military assault team leader is Lorenzo Freakin' Lamas, and I swear I am not making this up, the secret weaponized alien monster is made of smart water! To be fair, they did spring for a few guys in rubber monster suits, but that's not until almost the end of the movie.

Holy cow! This movie is so bad, I can't believe I've never seen it before. The bright side, if there is one, is that Lorenzo Lamas and all the smart-water monsters get nuked by the Army, so I guess it could have been worse.

Watched a real bad one about a month ago, it was a horror flick called "rest stop". It starred Joey"whooaa"Lawrence. It was about a serial killer at a rest stop. Joey gets run over by truck and lives to die later, I kept waiting for him to go "whoooaa " every time he got stabbed, shot ,run over.....it would have at least been funny.

Wow, I am glad my connection crapped out when i tried to watch rest stop online a few months back.

I was thinking of one I saw on sci-fi a while ago starring Dean Cain, it is the standard military creates zombies gone out of control story. Except for when ol Dean gets bitten instead of turning into a zombie he turns into this like part zombie super hero who looks normal but has to eat raw (not human) meat, and has super strength and other powers he uses to fight zombies, and fend off the miltary which is trying to capture him. I actually quite liked it it was pretty funny.

Just looked Imdb it is called Dead & Deader (2006)
