"V" on ABC
I have been watching ABC evening line up lately and notice they are advertising the heck out of the new series "V". For those who dont know, its a remake of the old series "V" and "V the Final Battle" that came on in the mid 80's. I was still you at that time (under 10) but wonder how close they are going to play it off from the original. Anyone else interested in the TV Show?

I used to watch the original religiously as a young child. But like many shows of my youth, I think they are best left in the past, e.g. Battlestar galactica

I think it is perfect timing for this remake. I also watched this series as a kid. I loved it. I think that they could take it to different places in this decade than they did back then and make it more relatable.

I think that with the 4th Kind coming out and all the alien hybrid conspiracy theories out there we are ripe for a show like this. I hope Robert Englund gets a cameo.

As much as I liked the original BG, I still like the new one. I really liked "V", we had just gotten a VCR when it came on and it was probably one of the first shows we taped! Looking forward to the new one!

I figure they will remake "Alien Nation" in a few years since all of this retro stuff seems to be doing well.

Recently re watched the original V on dvd in preparation for the remake. Unfortunately it is not as good as I remember, but years gone by can do that. I loved the new BSG and have high hopes for this one, got my subscription for it set up on hulu with my fingers crossed.

I used to LOVE that show!!!

A few little weird things that I remember about the aliens:
-They could be killed by saltwater
-The men aliens were the ones who got pregnant
-If you kicked them them in their balls.......nothing... If you hit them the side ribcage area......dropped like they got hit in their balls!
