I had to rewind it a few times to catch it. I was proud of my keen eye, but the wife wasn't all that impressed.

Re: Rescue Me

I finally saw the latest ep tonight and yep, there it was. Red, white and blue FDO bright as day. Now, thinking about it, I think I have seen him with them before, in the Firehouse. He must like 'em. Can't blame him.

You think that was what gave him the gas to fart in Epiphanys face while doing the yoga.

Re: Rescue Me

If this isn't the best show on TV this summer, I'd love to know what's better! Last nights episode was hilarious.

The scene when they were sitting around the table and probie was trying to explain that he was not gay was hilarious.

Re: Rescue Me

If you can find tapes or discs of Denis Leary's past TV series "The Job", it's also worth watching. The series didn't last but Leary was as brilliant in it as he is in "Rescue Me". And of course, Leary has a special interest in fire fighters, having lost a relative in the Worchester (MA) warehouse blaze several years back. I thought he was great as a standup comic, too.

I think Leary's stand-up is amazing. And I love the way that in Rescue Me the realism is there without the 'cheesiness' that many think is there in the likes of Ladder 49. Its the parts when they are hanging around at the station (firehouse) that I enjoy the most. Every 2 minutues I say to the girlfriend "that's exactly what we talk about at work!...."

And I'm always having to convince the guys I'm not gay!.............(Just kidding!!! )

Re: Rescue Me

Wow, what an episode. Lou with no sea-legs. You could see that fire coming as soon as she drugged him. I have never liked Leary but this show is really good and he is very good in it.

Re: Rescue Me

I think Leary survives. He has to.

Sheila dies in the fire.

Leary contemplates a retire after that close call and goes back to the ex- wife but its going to be rocky.

As for Lou and the sea legs, OMG that was hillarious. No pun intended to his nun girlfriend who is a little hottie.

The chief will be back.

Sounds good to me. I was a little let down by the season finally. I guess I was expecting more because this season has been so good. Oh well, Nip/Tuck starts next week.

Classic, I'm thinking this is the best show on tv and not real close. We been recording it on DVR. Only other shows I watch with any regularity is Curb your enthusiasm and Lucky Louie on HBO. I catch Faulty Towers on BBC America some too.
