Fight Science

Did anyone see Fight Science on NGC? It airs again on Sunday (8/27) on NGC. Very cool but better if it's Tivo'ed or taped since they really drag it out.

Re: Fight Science

They brought multiple martial artist and a boxer into a lab environment and tested different legends like one hit knock outs on a crash test dummy. The boxer was able to make a head shot with 990 plus pounds of force, then they would computer generate what happens to the body (the brain in this case).
The ninja did a hammer blow to the sternum with 5000 plus pounds of force, confirming the one hit execution. They also went weapons and their advantages and draw backs. Worth checking out the replay.

I believe that is a rerun...I've seen that before, but it was about a year ago. It was interesting.

Did it have that kid with the long hair in it?

Re: Fight Science

I saw it and it was amazing at how much power a human body and produce. I'm pretty sure this was a first-run original.

Kid with long hir? You talking about this kid?

Re: Fight Science

I wonder whether the scientists can monitor the power of that look your wife gives you when you're doing something she doesn't approve of!! Talking about power!!! Certain parts of the body are known to shrivel with this look.

Will look out for this program over here in about 5 years time. Does sound very interesting

No, not that kid...Although I've seen the documentary on him too. I swear I've seen the Fight Science thing before though. It was probably something very similar.
