The DVR is a life saver with kids. I set up season passes for my son's (he's 2) favorite shows, then when he decides he just HAS to watch Wonder Pets, it's there. Also, it seems that all Lodge meetings in the area are set up to occur at the exact times my favorite shows come on. I think it's in the bylaws. Now I don't even have to remember to put in a tape or dvd...it takes care of everthing. Laziness at it's best.

Do they allow cigar smoking at lodge dinners? Maybe it's finally time for me to think about signing up...

Not mine, but I don't think it is prohibited across the board, you might look into it in your area. We do smoke cigars at every outdoor function we have, though...
