From what I hear this season is mainly about The Others...many questions from last season will remain unanswered...as for the season premiere...It was a nice start to the season...can't wait until next week!!!

Just watched it thsi weekend ( thank god for DVR) not sure what to think yet. But in the opening seen when you saw the Others Town and the island ar they on a SEPERATE island then the plane passengers or is it a much larger island then we thought.??

I think the island is much bigger than they've let on. Goodwin and Ethan took off on foot to reach the crash sites, so I'm sure they're on the same island.

I agree...same island. It seems to take a few days to tranverse since the tailies walked awhile before the met up with the original castaways.

I'm really interested to see what type of crazy experiments the others are doing. Along with the earthquake. Nutty!

What ever happened to the smoke thing? The one that didn't get Mr Ehko (sp?)???

Good question, Danny. My guess is that Smokie is a creature the others lost control over-or never had control over.

I've been reading one theory that the smoke thing is a cloud of nano-robots created to keep the jungle from choking out the Dharma facilities, but the original engineers lost control of it. Just a theory, though. It's as good as any other I've seen.

I have a question that cant be answered....If they can leave the island then why don't they???? I guess this was the first time that we found out that they know about the outside world.

Yes, why don't they leave? I guess the whole time travel theory is loosing steam. Wonder why he wanted the boat so bad? The preview from next week shows we could get a visit from Smokey or the invisible beast thingy Locke ran into.

It's turning into a hodge-podge of loosely-tied and quickly forgotten mysteries. They had better start making some damn sense, instead of juicing us up with flash-panicks and false-emergencies/gags till our eyes bleed - or - they're gonna get lost in their own maze of B.S.
