Lost Season III-Official Discussion Thread

The season starts next week and I just can't wait. I talk alot about Lost on my podcast and spend some time searching forums on the www, so there will probably be spoilers in this thread.

To kick off the discussion, one topic that was hot at the end of season 2-who(if anyone) was killed in the blast at the end of the season finale? I like Echo's character-I hope he didn't get blown to bits.

I am a huge lost fan, although last season was more of a tease than anything else. I like Eko too... and I don't believe they killed him off, but who knows... I thought for sure Desmond was a goner, yet on one of ABC's previews hes still alive... who knows... I personally think that a charachter that is dead, will begin to show up in alot of flashbacks... Libby...

I don't see them killing off Locke. He's become too integral to the story.

I think that the Eko/Locke dynamic that was beginning to form was very interesting to watch.. I'd be quite disappointed if it turns out that one of them didn't make it.

Although, It wouldn't surprise me if Eko was killed off and that was the catalyst that caused Locke to regain his "faith in the island".

I read that the contact with the failsafe device may have endowed Desdmond with supernatural powers...lol-tomorrow night we will know.

Tonight it is on! Damn, watching the summary show last week got my all hyped up again. So many issues to watch... crazy!

What sucks though is that there will be a long break in the season. I read somewhere we'll get 7 episodes then another show will run in it's place (Day Break). Lost will return in January or early February. Sucks, but what can you do?

From what I heard from the producers is that from Feb on they will run the episodes with no breaks and no reruns...not like last year when every third episode was a rerun. I would rather have the break in the middle-like a mini season.

I havn't kept up with the recaps. Desmond went under the bunker to hit some switch right? I can't quite remember? And then what happened with locke and Ecko? I remember that Jack, Sawyer, and Co. got caught by the others and Walt and his dad escaped on the boat, right? It's been so long it's kindof fuzzy, very excited though!

The season ended with Locke and Echo's fates in question(as well as Desmond) Presumably they were all in close proximity to the white light and who knows...I think tonight we will find out(we better!)
