The guy collecting the evidence in the field is NOT the guy making the collar!!! ...and in a lot of places, the crime scene guy is a civilian technician! (in NY crime scene guys are detectives).....but they don't make the collar! Thats the job of the squad guys!!!!
The only CSI I'll watch is the original Las Vegas!!!

Just over a year ago, I went to Vancouver to help my sister with my mum (B-cell Lymphoma)

While there, her Boyfreind's eldest daughter was watching somethingl CSI:Vegas. It was the marathon on Spike. I got hooked.

When I got back to Montreal, i told my wife about this great show I watched. She too, with nothign to do, found the same marathon (Gotta love Statalie TV!!) We wer hooked! catching all we could.

CSI Miami... Yea, but never really got us hooked.

A few years later, we were in Vegas for a trade show. Teh wife came too. Once back home, and watching CSI "We were tehre, Been there" would slip out with a smile! recognizing the strip & all (and naming the casinos.)

We've since switched to CSI Miami, as we seem to have seen all teh CSI: Vegas.

And again, a trip to teh Key & Miami, we point out 'We were there!!' when they show that bottom tip of South Beach..

CSI NY is to be next I guess, once we've overloaded on Daviod Carouso.

And yeah, he has past 'Cool' into 'Goofy'!!!

And, of course the Speedle (Rory Chochrane) reference to his first fame.. playing 'Slater' in 'Dazed & COnfused' "Check ya later!!"

IMO it is. CSI:Miami is basically just another eye-candy showcase.

But seeing as you're from Beantown ... I'm sure all things NY would be at the bottom of your list.

I actually watched CSI (LV) for the first time last night. I enjoyed it but I still like CSI Miami better.

Caruso left NYPD Blue because he won an Emmy! He was like WOW! if I can win an emmy here, I can win an Ocar in films!!! NOT!! The guy is a ham! I love all of the CSI shows including Miami but have to agree that it seems that Caruso is always posing.
