HOLY CRAP guys, this is the coolest game I have ever laid eyes one. Gameplay is top notch and different.

Another game worthy of mention. Marvel Alliance. Think Marvel characters in a Gauntlet like game. Button mashing fun. Very fun with friends, not so much by yourself.

COD3 is a change of pace for the series. First off, the biggest change is the loss of the commie campaign. I am really dissapointed they chose to remove the Russians, their missions were the best in COD1 and COD2 imho. Secondly they REMOVED THE M1 CARBINE! My favorite gun gone. I'm quite pissed at that decision

The Canadian and Polish missions are a nice change, but i'm not sure that focusing the whole game just in France was a good idea. I kinda liked the variety of places from the previous games. And the Canadians are pretty much the same as the British, while the Polish sound Russian and drive tanks. They could have done without the Polish stuff and just stuck with the Canadians. The canucks missions are very challenging and fun.

Graphics are only slightly better. Not much change. Still the best looking smoke in any game lol.

It's the feel of the game that is the biggest change. There is much more focus of character development in this installment. Even more scripted scenes, and weak cliche story lines associated with each country. I doesn't work well given the arcade feel of the game. This kind of approach is more appropriate for the Brothers in Arms series, not COD.

And of note is the mini game scripted scenes. A very good addition, ala RE4. Get jumped by a German and a hand to hand battle insues. Button combos follow, and although a blatant ripoff of Resident Evil 4's mini game, a nice way to break up the action unexpectedly.

This game is really COD 2.5. It's not better than two, but it still a great game on it's own. It's more difficult and definetly more intense, which I like. It's not groundbreaking in any way, just a solid, intense, fps.

It can wait. If your really itching for a solid fps, pick up FEAR. Besides the amazing graphics, it's like the wierdest combination of game genres i've seen in a long while. It's a fps, but there are matrix moves, slow mo, and a horror story backround ala the ring.

I read about that one and it does sound pretty cool. The trailer was your typical FPS then all of a sudden the Ghost of a little girl appeared.

Crazy stuff.

Absolutly love GoW, not all that impressed with COD3, but I've only started playing it; to me everything seems too shiny, but maybe that's just me. I've been playing GoW online and it is too much fun, finally a game has come along that reminds me why I love gaming. I don't think there is a game on the 360 that comes close to it's visuals, and the gameplay is unique. And you just can't not like a game where your main melee weapon is a freaking chainsaw. Who else thinks it's the best melee weapon ever? I know I do. And curb bashing someone on Live is quite the experiance as well
