I have to stick with the PS3 only cuz I cant stand that Xbox controller
but Ill have to wait till prob summer to get it cuz I aint waiting in line at best buy over night again

I was in the same boat as you man but the new xbox controller is actually very comfortable....and this is coming from a diehard playstation fan. I swore I would never get 360 but played a friends for awhile and the controller is very easy to get used to.

I'm gonna back up King James on this one..

I hated, and I mean hated, the Xbox controller. I was so used to the perfect feel that the PS2 controller had in my hands, and I just couldn't get used to that giant thing.

When I tried the 360, I was actually impressed. Granted, it's no PS controller.. but Microsoft is on the right track. It's leaps and bounds better than the old one.

I just picked up my 360 a couple of weeks ago and I have been very impressed so far. I didn't have wireless controllers for my XBOX so this has been a nice feature. Especially turning the system on using the controller. The audio also seems to be a ton better which I didn't initially expect.

I just got GOW today so I'm looking forward to playing that based on all of the great feedback and reviews here.

My boss' wife works for Gamestop's corp. office and they had their big employee discount weekend this weekend. I picked up GOW, Tiger Woods '06, Dead or Alive 4, Quake 4, Condemned, and PGR3.

Has anyone played Quake 4 or Condemned? They look pretty good and at about $15 a piece after discounts I couldn't pass.

I played through Q4 when it came out & it was true to the PC version. Great game IMHO.

Nothing like Gears though, Gears is gonna blow your F'n mind

I JUST got my Live working again... and it's been Halo 2 non-stop since... Gears is even better on Live, especially now that you can do the campaign on co-op!

Q4 was good an all...but after playing Doom3 - it just seemed kinda redundant, ya know?

Huzzah for Gears!

And currently, I'm prowling around as Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Double Agent....damn fine game!!!

For all of you guys that love Gears of War check out the new Rainbow Six game. It's alot like Gears of War with some things done a bit better and some things just don't compare but it's worth renting. It looks like First person shooters are really going to start making a turn in the way they are made. I personally love Gears of War on live, way better then any fps including Halo. Tactical shooters are where it's at.

Also Enchanted Arms is an awesome RPG. It's a bit of a throw back with some cool new things you havn't seen in a RPG before.

i'm currently hooked on the rainbow 6 vegas. it's great. also it's helping me learn the xbox controller. this is my first xbox and i just got it a couple weeks ago. i love FPS games, but am having a tough time getting used to the controller. getting better every night though!

Well, I just bought a new Xbox 360 last night and two games. GOW and COD 3. I can only blame everyone here at CS. Actually I told the wife it was for our son.....

When we got home I wanted to get it out and play it but it's for my son right!!!!

I may unpack the machine and make sure it works but I'm not going to open the games, I'll let him do that.

I"m sure I'll be asking someone around here how to hookup to Xbox live when the time comes.
