X360 Games you NEED
There are two games that just came out that anybody with an xbox360 should own:

Gears of War - haven't finished yet, but it's one of the most beautiful and innovative games i've ever played. It's like they took Halo, Ghost Recon, and Resident Evil 4 and merged it into some sort of super game

Call of Duty 3 : easily the best installment in the series as of yet. Why you ask? Because you get to play as the Polish and Canadians. The red commies are not present in this game.

Been wondering about this one since that badass commercial came out for it. All I have are sports games and I've been wanting something Haloesque to fill the void. Thanks Smitty.

so here's MY question. Xbox 360 or ps3? I actually read a pre-launch review where they claim the graphics on the ps3 are INFERIOR to the 360. am leaning towards the ps3 if for no other reason than the blu ray drive.

X360. First of all the chances of getting a PS3 right now are nil. Only 400,000 units being released before xmas. Much better game titles out on X360 and almost no exclusive titles for PS3.

Plus the graphics cards are not that different. I would not count on the graphics being that much better if not the same.


The 360 can do alot more then it has shown. And I will say it again Blueray =Beta. We shall see if blueray makes it when and if it does.

excellent games indeed, GoW is easily the most awaited game for ages in many groups of gamers!

imo the Playstation has never been the superior console in whatever iteration tbh. if youre serious about gaming go for the xbox.

Gears of War is amazing (both graphically and gameplay). The single player has been great and the live multiplayer is a blast.

The other game I am looking forard to (as well as the ones already mentioned) is Rainbow Six Vegas.

I also agree with everyone else in this thread about the 360 vs the PS3. Buy the 360. It will cost you much less and everything that I have heard and read says that there will be no difference graphically between the 2 systems. Not to mention X-box live rocks.

duuuude. i went over to coppertops house for lunch on thursday, and he had just bought it.
it was very cool (of course he's got super-duper surround sound and a huge friggin HD TV).

the gun with a chainsaw built in is pretty cool... run up and cut someone in half...

VERY graphic, cursing, etc. he said when he bought it, they were checking IDs and turned a 15 or 16 yr old away. after watching him play it, i can see why.

I would not get that if you have a young son. but if you're a single grown up gamer type, that looks to be fuggin cool.

I've got a question for you X360 owners. Will it still play the old xbox games as well? We've got both xbox and PS2, and am looking at picking up the x360 for Christmas but didn't know if it plays the old games too?

I'm glad someone mentioned Splinter Cell...that game is badazz!!! Gears looks awesome and all the reviews are saying this is the game that 360 owners can truly be proud of. Already in contention for game of the year and from what I can tell, it's well deserved!
