DVD- The Boondock Saints
Hey, with St. Patty's Day coming up in no time, "The Boondock Saints" is a must! A buddy loaned it to me the other night, and I finally got around to watching it. Absolutely bloody and totally hilarious! It's about a couple of brothers (Sean Patrick Flanery & Norman Reedus) from South Boston who decide to rid the city of organized crime. Aided by their double-crossed Mafia buddy Rocco (nicknamed "the FunnyMan"), they go on a rampage that endears them in the community & news. It also puts a psycho, mob-hired hitman (Billy Connolly) on their trail. Oh, and then there's Willem Dafoe. He plays the faggy, yet funny FBI agent who can't figure out if he should catch these guys, or let 'em continue on. The guy nails his part a little too close, if you know what I mean. It's a quick hour and a half, or so. If you enjoy shoot 'em up movies that will have you rolling, you need to go out and find this disc. I'm going to order it online so I'll have it on hand.

i think this is Coppertops favorite movie. i watched it in germany last month, and your review is dead on.
the brothers are irish, the mobsters are russian... it's pretty darn funny. a bit like "snatch", just a bit.

A cult classic. Seen it a dozen times, the cat scene and the scene with the girlfriend have me rolling on the floor still!
Part 2 in the works  but you know how sequels go

"Boondock Saints" is a good movie. I also second the recommendation for "Lock, Stock ...". These are both fun British crime movies, somewhat in the vein of Snatch (for lack of a better explanation). I enjoyed the first two a lot , but "Snatch" - not so much.
