The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

We're dealing with what is arguably the best Western Film ever made and to make it better, there is no downside! "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" tells the epic western tale of The Man With No Name (Clint Eastwood), his untrustworthy partner Tuco (Eli Wallach) and the Yankee officer Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef). All find the bloody Civil War to be a hinderence, it's in the way of $200,000 of gold buried in a grave. These Guys are focused. In focus too! Amazing cinematography!

For me, this is ultimately my favorite movie of all time. So what's the point of saying anymore than, if you haven't seen this movie since 1966, or you've never seen this movie unedited and fully restored, Just buy it. It is Directed by Sergio Leone, he kind of makes Quentin Taratino look clumsy. The pacing and deliberate tight camera work just builds what is already one of the most tense character films ever made.

An added Bonus for LLG's, No Name Clint (Joe, Blondie) waxes poetic about the cigars thru-out the 2 hour 42 minute epic.

It's one of my favorites as well. Leone is brilliant. I also like the other two parts of the trilogy - "A Fistful of Dollars" and "For a Few Dollars More". Eastwood chewing/puffing on his short stogies is classic.

The whole trilogy is awesome, but GBU is by far my favorite. I can't imagine that anyone hasn't seen this movie, it's a classic. I brought the DVDs a few months ago and was blown away by how good it looked, if you like westerns buy the DVDs, if you don't like westerns buy the DVDs

My personal favorite Spaghetti weastern is by far The Outlaw Josey Wales followed second by High Plains Drifter.
