oh yes, i hava few cocao tea CDs and i love garnett silk.
i went to go see barrington levy at columbia missouri, but he couldn't show (couldn't get out of jamaica for some reason). but i still got to see Culture, that was cool.

i had this really nice Singing Melody Cd that was ripped off, and some yami bolo...
i have a few compilation CDs on my desk right now, with cutty ranks, barrington levy, frankie paul, cocoa tea, etc.

but there are many days when NOTHING can compare to some old Robert Nesta Marley... when they were still just "The Wailers", or right after that. some very heavy string bass mixed in with his vocals that let you hear how much feeling was put into the song/words.
the Rastaman Vibration CD is great. so is Burnin'... the list goes on.

Reading: Just finished Ride the Wind - by Lucia St. Clare Robson I'm addicted to historinovels. My to read list is endless - summer reading is always light fare. Work reading includes: Frames of Mind, Multiple intelligences, a new look at grace, enneagram a christian perspective... oy - I'm in the middle of all of those right now.

Watching: Like IHT whatever my 4 year old watches. Our favorite show is Liberty's Kids on PBS

Listening: Andean Nation, R.Carlos Nakai, Golana

Well maybe Rascal Flats, Sara Evans or Allison Krauss & Union Station. Haven't heard of most of these music groups. BTW Money Ball is also a good book if you like baseball.

I lived in Bakersfield in the late 60's early 70's, Buck and Merle was a way of life. Dwight is pretty darn good for youngster. My Dad is a CW Hardcore, we're talking years of Nashville Vacations, Patsy Cline, Loretta, Wynn Stewart, George Jones, the Man in Black,......the list is huge. He still wears CW gear at 73 years old (NO BOLOS).

My 15 year old likes everybody on the CMT channel and she's real sweet so it must be some good stuff huh?
