I dont know. There's so much at stake for these guys (network execs) that I would be shocked if they don't somehow control the voting. I'm not saying direct tampering with votes, but putting Sunjaya in a particular segment, like he'll probably never open the show or close the show. Also planning what kinds of comments the judges will make about him. The judges usually push a certain aspect of each contestant, Blake is the "original guy" who Simon has called the "best male." And the chick with no neck is the "girl who came out of the shadow of background singing." I'm pretty sure this stuff is "coached." Which in turn "coaches" the viewer.

The wife is not a fan of hers so the wife wanted her to go last night. Inside my head I am thing oh please god no as she is the only reason I will watch at all anymore. But of course I was agreeing with the wife the whole time
