Ok admit it. You watch it.

I will admit I missed the first two nights but I DVR'd them. My wife got me watching it last season and I got hooked. I think mostly because it looks and sounds great in HD and SS.

I watch it, especially the first few weeks w/ all the horrible people. I watch it after that....but don't feel as bad if I miss an episode once it gets into the good people all the time.

I just can't get into it. The guest and host just don't keep me interested enough.

I can't believe how popular this show is.

I watch it sometimes. I don't make a point of watching it (especially if it conflicts with BATG) but I like to see talented people do their thing. Of course, the first episodes with the bad people are funny too.

I love watching the auditions....funniest damn thing on TV.

After that I kinda loose interest. The wife and daughter watch it religiously so I will see the odd episode. Last year was not too bad as there were such diverse contestants and they didn't all sound the same.

Last night auditions in Seattle were....well I don't even know what to say

only the first couple of episodes, when it's actually funny. Then it just turns into a bunch of mediocre-decent singers doing covers.

I got hooked last season as well. I just enjoy watching reality smash in the face of this new "everyone is a winner" generation.

I watch the auditions for the hilarity of watching the lunatics. After that I lose any real interest and dont watch it much or care if I miss it. My wife watches straight through til' the end, so occasionally Ill watch the final 12 episodes with her if Im not doing anything else.

Exactly...after the auditions end, so does my viewership....

I am also into the auditions, and then spotty, as the quality of singing goes in the john as they make them stretch outside of their comfort zone.

William Hung is my hero, I can't believe that guy actually made THREE albums.

If the auditioners are anything resembling a cross-section of the general public then there is a national epidemic of delusions of grandeur. I am in completely stupefied that most of those people think they have anything to offer other than a good laugh at their expense.
